Journal Project
Welcome to the lovemermaid.com journal project. One journal will be passed around between
50 different individuals in different locations of the world. Each participant in the
project will have 48 hours to write/draw/write poems about love, heartache, romance, or anything
else about love. The journal will then be sent on to the next person.

Journal Project Details
Journal projects are nothing new, but the concept
is really great about writing feelings and stories about yourself and sharing it with others. With our
Journal Project we're going to start small and see how it goes. One journal will be available
to put your thoughts and feelings about love, heartache, romance, or anything else about love and how it has impacted
you. The goal will be to have 50 participants for the first journal. After the 50 spots have been
filled in and a travel plan has been formed for the journal it will be sent out. You will have 48 hours once the
journal arrives to you to write in, draw in, put pictures in, whatever! After your 48 hours you must send it to the
next destination. Each participant will only know the name and address of who they have to send it you. If you participate,
you will be responsible for postage and a mailing envelope plus getting the journal to the post office, so please don't sign up
if this is a problem for you.

Spread the word. If you'd like to put a link on your site to the Journal Project, please feel free to use the image above.
Update: April 08, 2004
We're sorry for the lack of updates lately, but this has been incredibly frustrating. After the journal made it to the second destination it was only supposed to be there
for about 48 hours. Well, it ended it being there 4+ weeks. No reason, just excuses. Supposedly the journal was sent to the 3rd destination two-weeks ago. This was
only a couple of hundred miles away. No word if it has made it there and emails to the third person (who previously replied quickly) have gone unanswered. It's gotten to
a point where either we should start over or give up. We'd rather do neither.
There is still room to participate if you are still interested, so please don't hesitate to sign up, and we'll make sure the journal pays you a visit.
